RC60 - Ink Roller Temperature Contol
In today's competitive Print market, productivity and performance are key. Press speeds are continually increasing to meet these demands, however a side of these faster speeds is a rise in heat generation and press temperature. If left unmanaged, these temperature rises can dramatically affect the behaviour of the ink on the press, reducing the consistency and quality of the print output.
MGE's Pressmate range of Roller Chilling units have been designed to ensure that consistent temperature profile is maintained in the ink roller trains meaning that even at very high speeds, the press remains at its optimal temperature level.

All MGE print equipment is assembled in accordance with ISO9001 Quality Management System and European CE Legislation.
PRESSMATE RC60
Two Pressmate models are available depending upon the size and speed of the press: the RC60 and the RC100.
The
RC60 unit provides:
* 6.0kW cooling capacity
* 3.0kW heater for cold start
* Variable temperature range with digital display
* Autofilling for the coolant tank

The RC60 is
fitted with a large insulated reservoir tank to ensure coolant temperature
fluctuations are kept to a minimum. The unit also uses open loop circulation,
reducing the amount of maintenance required and removing the needs for a pressurised
system.
Connection to the Press
Pressmate Roller Chillers are designed to be fitted to sheet-fed and web presses equipped with hollow ink rollers using standars rotary unions with thermally insulated feed and return pipes. The systems work by continuously circulating a corrosion inhibited coolant out through the rollers and back to the chilling system giving a consistent temperature transfer across the full length of each of the ink rollers.
