Since the 1970s,
MGE began producing dampening and circulation equipment for Print manufacturers
and now offers an extensive range of machines to press manufacturers, press
agents, distributors and end-user printers.

Electric (Colchester) Ltd is a British manufacturing company whose innovative
approach has seen it go from strength to strength since its foundation in 1945
by Sydney Albert Martin, grandfather of the current Managing Director.
Beginning
as an installer and repairer of electrical equipment and gaining an impressive
reputation as a producer of electric motors, MGE expanded into several new engineering
areas and in particular the manufacture of printing press temperature control
systems and centrifugal pumps.
All
MGE equipment is manufactured to the highest standards in accordance with ISO
9001 and ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems and European CE Legislation.
In
1985, the company moved to its present premises, a 25,000 sq ft factory in Wyncolls
Road, Colchester.
