Since 1954,
MGE's medical range of products has grown from basic suction devices to include
an extensive range of general and specialist equipment including ward and
theatre units, portable devices, central system pipeline regulators, nebulisers
and accessories.

Electric (Colchester) Ltd is a British manufacturing company whose innovative
approach has seen it go from strength to strength since its foundation in 1945
by Sydney Albert Martin, grandfather of the current Managing Director.
Beginning
as an installer and repairer of electrical equipment and gaining an impressive
reputation as a producer of electric motors, MGE expanded into the production
of medical suction equipment producing
the well known SAM range of products.
All
MGE equipment is manufactured to the highest standards in accordance with ISO
9001 and ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems, Medical Device Directive and
European CE Legislation.
In
1985, the company moved to its present premises, a 25,000 sq ft factory in Wyncolls
Road, Colchester.
